Expertech CMSC was started as a technical
service based on years of experience in developing products and
bringing them to market. The knowledge of materials and statistical
techniques that helped control quality, optimize product and minimize
costs, the ability to develop and implement standards and gain
recognition for them amongst customers and competitors were strengths
applied in a variety of industries.
ISO 9000 standards are recognized as effective
tools for managing business systems for optimal quality, reduced cost
and increased confidence by the customers. Their introduction in
organizations and work to maintain the systems and structures provides
competitive advantages to organizations. The disciplined approach of
effective process design and control allows them to better
serve their customers and eliminate waste.
Laboratories
get accredited to ISO 17025 by organizations like the Standards Council
of Canada, confirming their competence in performing quality testing.
The system ensures traceability of test results to national standards
recognized around the world.
In some organizations management takes a
minimalist approach directed to gain customer recognition for ISO 9000
registration, missing out on the opportunity to gain the direct
business benefits. Many times this has to do with the perception that
it is more urgent to deal with other aspects of the business. Often
this results in an automatic way of dealing with problems that prevents
the leaders of the organization from recognizing opportunities that the
systematic approach would give them. The capabilities of these leaders
and their organizations to solve complex problems on their own under
the stress of urgent demands affect the approach chosen and the results
obtained.
Eric Stern, the principal of Expertech CMSC,
honed over time his skills that enable him to provide professional
coaching to business leaders. Active participation in the International
Coach Federation,
Coachville, and intensive formal training in the Coach2B
model of coaching at Leadership University enable him to generate awareness amongst the
people he coaches, leading them to actionable decisions. He currently
trains and facilitates coaching practice to students of Leadership
University and managers who want to effectively coach.
When you and your organization become
more effective, you satisfy the needs and desires of your customers. |
